Mrs Oritsematosan EDODO - EMORE

She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981.  She practiced law with Sani Mohammed, Kuso & Co., Kaduna , Kaduna State , and at Akporiaye, Edodo & Associates, Warri, in Delta State, Nigeria .  In 1996 she was part of the Nigerian trade delegation to Bilateral talks with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and was on the Presidential delegation which accompanied His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the State visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain in September 2000.  She is an active member of the Women International Shipping and Trade Association. She is the Financial Secretary of the Nigerian Maritime Law Association, and the Secretary General of the Franco – Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

She is specialized in the areas of transport, energy, environment laws and legislative drafting. Her experience in legislative drafting for the Nigerian National Assembly is most relevant to any assigned tasks involving preparation of legislations for developing economies and emerging markets. The work done for the Senate Committee on Marine Transport and the Senate Committee on Environment and Ecology   is particularly relevant.

Her advanced legal training and vast experience in conceptualization, drafting and review of legislations would be useful in the preparation of all the legislations and agreements necessary for the realization of legal objectives in any developing economies or emerging markets.

Additionally Mrs. EDODO – EMORE has been involved in the preparation, drafting, review and perfection of intricate commercial agreements, ranging from media planning and buying service agreements to project management and coordination agreements.
